How US Vets Can Save Money on Their Ford Truck

Military Appreciation ProgramWhether you’re from Muskegon or Great Lakes, Northern Shores or Holland or any other part of this state, if you’re a veteran, we at Preferred Ford want to thank you for your service. As a small token of our appreciation, we offer the Military Appreciation Program to those who qualify.

We think that as someone who’s served this country, you should get a little something in return, which is why we want to save you money through this program.

Today, we’re going to talk about what the Military Appreciation Program is and how it can help you with your next Ford truck.

What is the Military Appreciation Program?

This program is offered to not only veterans who have already served but also to those who are currently active and even to spouses of those in the military.

What this program does is offer you a $500 bonus cash offer that can be used for the purchase or lease of an eligible new vehicle. While some models don’t qualify for this program, most models do, meaning you’ll be able to save $500 toward your next vehicle.

How Do I Qualify for This Program?

There are a few things that you need in order to qualify for this program. First, if you’re no longer on active duty, this program is only applicable within 24 months of you finishing your service.

If it has been more than 24 months since you finished your service, you might still be eligible through programs like Veterans Advantage, DAV, or PVA. Also, if you’re a veteran who needs adaptive equipment installed on your vehicle, Ford will offer up to $1,000 through its Ford Mobility Motoring Program.

This program is also available to those on active duty, those who are stationed overseas, and those who have retired from service for one reason or another. Military spouses can also qualify under the same discount, as well as surviving spouses.

What Kind of Proof Do I Need?

In order to qualify for this discount, you just need to prove with a form of identification that you served or are currently serving in one of these branches:

  • Army
  • Navy
  • Air Force
  • Coast Guard
  • Marines

This also applies to those in the National Guard, reservists on active duty, and those who are part of the Delayed Entry/Enlistment Program.

Does This Discount Affect How I Can Buy a Vehicle?

This $500 discount is just the start of your financing options when you purchase your vehicle with Preferred Ford. While this is a great way to save on your vehicle, you’ll most likely end up financing your purchase or leasing.

Not only do we offer the same financing options to vets that we do for everyone else, but you can still sell your vehicle to us and put that value toward the purchase of your next vehicle to get those monthly payments down as well. Remember, we don’t just sell cars - we buy cars, too.
