For 2026, only slight adjustments have been made to the compact Ford Maverick. Front-wheel drive configurations are now available on select Maverick models equipped with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat and Marsh Gray are new exterior colors that debut for 2026. Last but not least, every Maverick trim level comes standard with the Ford Connectivity Package and a one-year complimentary introductory subscription.

FLEXBED™ Versatility
Perhaps the most groundbreaking cargo-related feature of the Ford Maverick is its exclusive FLEXBED™ truck bed configuration. Unlike any other type of truck bed you’ve seen before, this clever feature offers endless solutions for personalizing and securing cargo thanks to dedicated slots sized to fit 2x4s or 2x6s. All it takes is a bit of imagination to create segmented storage compartments, bike/kayak racks, raised cargo floors, and just about anything else you can envision. Additional cargo management solutions of the bed include two tie-down cleats, four D-rings, and threaded holes integrated into the sides. Rather than sacrificing the factory wiring harness for electrical power, the Maverick features a standard 12-volt integrated electrical power access point on both sides of the bed. With the tailgate raised, this 4.5-foot bed has a standard payload capacity of 1,500 pounds, equivalent to roughly 37 bags of 40-pound mulch.
