Other technological features include being able to use your phone as a key, confirming your battery charge, and locating your car if lost in a busy parking lot, thanks to the FordPass app.
Battery Options and Drive Modes
Last but not least, let’s take a look at the battery options and drive modes available on the Mach-E. Though the features mentioned above are great, what really makes the Mach-E stand out from the competition and other Mustang models is that it has a battery to drive performance.
First, there’s the standard-range battery that delivers 264 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque. This battery has an EPA estimated range of 250 miles.
Then there’s the extended-range battery, which provides the same amount of lb-ft of torque but outputs 290 horsepower. This has an EPA-estimated range of 320 miles.
Your last option is the GT extended-range battery, which has an EPA estimated range of 280 miles but delivers powerful 480 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to this, the Mach-E offers drive modes to customize your drive even further. For a calm and relaxing drive with blue ambient lighting, choose Whisper. For in-vehicle sounds, choose Engage, and for a sporty feel and orange ambient lighting, choose Unbridle. There’s no wrong choice!
