About the Ford F-150 Lightning
As the best-selling truck in the USA for over 40 years, the Ford F-150 name is synonymous with proven performance and capabilities. Taking these strengths to astounding new heights is the revolutionary F-150 Lightning, an all-electric variant of America’s favorite full-size pickup truck. Engineered with proven Built Ford Tough™ principles, the F-150 Lightning demonstrates how going electric no longer means having to miss out on the dependability and versatility that’s made it a household name. You’ll have your choice of either a standard or extended-range battery pack, capable of delivering up to an EPA-estimated 320 miles of targeted range. This emission-free workhorse is ready to get the job done thanks to significant weight savings made possible by its military-strength aluminum-alloy body and bed. You’ll also appreciate its ergonomic interior that’s packed with cutting-edge tech features including SYNC® 4A and the Ford Co-Pilot360™ 2.0 suite of driver-assistive safety features. Inside and out, the Ford F-150 Lightning remains the ultimate choice for an all-electric full-size truck.
What the Critics Say
“Riding on a new EV platform, with the latest electrical architecture and fourth-generation electronics, the F-150 Lightning becomes the smartest and most connected truck in Ford's lineup, offering a new wealth of features and apps, along with a giant 15.5-inch touchscreen to access many of them.” — MotorTrend
“Showing off its raw grunt, my test driver took the Lightning up a 25% grade, which doesn't sound that steep until you see it filling the windshield. With 3 tons in tow, the truck had no trouble tackling this rather daunting hill, easily putting it in the rearview mirror, all while emitting nothing more than a whirr.” — Roadshow by CNET
What’s New for 2025
Updates to the proven Ford F-150 Lightning are small for the new model year. All 2025 models now include a Tesla-style NACS Fast Charging Adapter with the Ford Mobile Power Cord for greater charging convenience. Choosing the XLT trim level means you’ll receive the Tow Technology Package as a standard feature. Charging enhancements found on 2025 models include real-time charging readouts, charge scheduling capabilities for select locations, and a universal charge limit. Rounding out the list of changes, the innovative BlueCruise feature is now on version 1.4 while the optional Max Trailer Tow Package gains an eLocking rear axle as standard for 2025.Ford F-150 Lightning Features

Electrifying Power
Whether you depend on your truck to earn a living or it’s simply a tool you use to make memories with your friends and family, the Ford F-150 Lightning has the power and efficiency to get the most out of every mile. Every F-150 Lightning comes equipped with a revolutionary all-electric powertrain that’s as durable as the rest of the F-150 range. Choose from either a Standard-Range Battery (452 HP / 775 LB-FT TQ) or an Extended-Range Battery (580 HP / 775 LB-FT TQ) paired with a standard four-wheel drive system, both of which are ready to go the distance. It also boasts a jaw-dropping 10,000-pound max towing capacity and 2,000-pound max payload capacity. Other highlights include individual drive mode settings along with an astounding sub-4-second 0-60 time. Helping you work more efficiently - the Ford F-150 Lightning is also offered with advanced tech features including Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, Smart Hitch, and onboard scales that help you calculate payload.

Premium Interior
It’s never been more exciting or more rewarding to make the switch to an all-electric vehicle thanks to the Ford F-150 Lightning and its clever features. One example of a standout feature is the groundbreaking Pro Power Onboard system, providing 9.6 kW of maximum auxiliary power via 11 outlets. Once activated, your truck instantly transforms into a mobile power station. This allows you to take advantage of other key features like Ford Intelligent Backup Power and its standard 14.1 cubic feet Mega Power Frunk featuring four Pro Power Onboard 120V outlets. The 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro, included as standard on F-150 Lightning Extended Range models, delivers up to 30 miles of charge per hour to provide a full charge overnight. Every trim also includes a standard Mobile Power Cord with a 240V connector that’s portable and ideal for when you’re traveling. Up to 320 miles of estimated driving range and flexible charging solutions mean that you can say goodbye to range anxiety, a common concern among potential EV buyers.

Connected Interior
Just as tech-savvy as its powertrain, the interior of the Ford F-150 Lightning is packed with plenty of connectivity and convenience features. Your favorite people, places, and apps will ride along on every journey thanks to available SYNC® 4A software and an optional 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen display that’s home to cloud-based data storage, connected navigation, and more. Over-the-air software updates ensure that you’ll always have the latest-and-greatest in terms of tech by learning your specific preferences intuitively. Similarly, the Intelligent Range function can automatically learn and anticipate energy consumption by considering factors like towing weights, payload, grade, weather, traffic, and more. FordPass™ Power My Trip is standing by to coordinate your next weekend getaway by scheduling charge times, planning the route, and much more. Acting as an extra set of eyes on the road is the groundbreaking Ford Co-Pilot360™ 2.0 suite of driver-assistive safety technologies.
